Project Title
Simulations of Two-Dimensional and Reactive Turbulent Flows

Brief Description for General Publications
This project aims to contribute to basic scientific knowledge of quasi two-dimensional flows and reactive flows. Building on previous outcomes from this project, we propose to implement improved time stepping algorithms to obtain very long time series drift wave and ion temperature gradient turbulence equations, which can be mined for structure and motifs. We also plan to continue with reactive flow simulations using FLUENT to obtain data for managing environmental fire spread to optimize carbon sequestration.
