International Shocks and Business Cycles in a Small Open Economy

Brief Description for General Publications
The project is intended to be part of a Phd research thesis on the topic of applied macroeconomic modelling. The objective of the project is to investigate whether central bank policy makers should respond international disturbances, namely foreign output, interest rate, inflation, exchange rate and commodity prices (terms of trade) shocks, impacting on a small open economy such as Australia, New Zealand and Canada.
