Brief Description for General Publications
The project will involve numerical simulation of mixing and combustion of hydrogen fuels and hydrocarbon fuel in a laboratory scramjet at hypersonic conditions. Both equilibrium and finite rate chemistry models will be used in the simulation. The purpose is to produce theoretical data, such as pressure distributions, and species distributions that can be ompared against experimental data to test the reliability of the physical and chemical models used in the CFD simulation. |
