Self-assembly of Polyphiles via Espresso Simulations

Brief Description for General Publications

The project will explore self-assembly of star-shaped molecules in solution and melt, with three mutually immiscible arms joined at a common centre. The idea is to generalise lipid water self-assembly, where we have a lot of expertise (and which form two immiscible domain types) to multiple domains. We have a number of theoretical structures that we are trying to find as thermodynamically stable solutions.
