Project Title
Nonlocal Solitons

Brief Description for General Publications
Solitons- localised waves existing in nonlinear media may propagate without changing their shape and interact with each other like real particles. They are ubiquitous in nature - exist in any system exhibiting dispersion/diffraction and nonlinearity. In this project we will study properties of beams and solitons in nonlocal nonlinear systems. This project will have an impact on understanding of the soliton phenomena in many fields including optics and matter waves. Because of requirements of extensive numerical simulations the access to the supercomputing facilities is necessary.
