Brief Description for General Publications
The project is aimed to present industrial applications of sheet stamping simulation using the finite element method. It is generalized to take into account several important factors which have the significant effects on the quality of final products, such as friction, large strain forming, etc. It is proposed that the model will be implemented into the large-scale finite element package ABAQUS that is applied to predict the forming limit strain and fracture limit strain under non-proportional loading condition. Also, parallel analysis of such model will be considered to speed up the simulation time of complex stamping processes. |
