Brief Description for General Publications
This project is to investigate theoretically the electronic, transport and optical properties of semiconductor nanostructures such as quantum wellls, quantum wires, quantum dots, quantum rings, etc. I intend developing fundamentally new and tractable approaches in theory of semiconductor physics, electronics and optoelectronics and relating theoretical results to experiments and experimental findings. These theoretical studies require high-speed, high-accuracy and CPU-consuming computations and, therefore, the support of this National Facility is needed. |
